【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardspecifieschromato-graphicmethodsfortheseparationofphenolicresinsintotheircomponentcompounds.Separationtakesplaceaccordingtomolecularweightand/orpolarity.Therearevariousliquidchromatographicmethods:A:Gel-permeationchromatographyB:High-performanceliquidchromatographyonpolarcolumnsC:High-performanceliquidchromatographyonnon-polarcolumnsItispossibletoseparateaphenolicresinintoitscomponentsaccordingtomolecularsizeusingmethodA(gel-permeationchromatography).Whereasfreephenolandthesumofthedihydro-xydiphenylmethanes(innovolaks)andvariousmethylolphenols(inresols)arequantitativelysepar-atedinthisprocedure,high-molecular-weightcompo-nentsoftheresinsareonlyincompletelyseparatedduetothemultitudeofisomers.MethodsBandC(high-performanceliquidchroma-tography)separatethecompoundsintheresinac-cordingtomolecularweightandpolarity.Molecular-weighteffectspredominateonpolarsta-tionaryphases(methodB),andtheeffectofpolarityonnon-polarstationaryphases(methodC).Thesemethodsalsoallowquantitativedeterminationofin-dividuallow-molecular-weightresincomponents.Be-causeofthedifferentresinsolubilities,methodBismoresuitablefornovolaksandmethodCforresols.2Themethodsareapplicabletophenolicresinsthataresolubleinthesolventsandsolventblendsused.3Thistestisusefulforcharacterizationofpro-ductsandforresearch.
