【摘要】:(1)Part4.1ofEurocode3providesprinciplesandapplicationrulesforthestructuraldesignofsteelsilosofcircularorrectangularplan-form,beingfreestandingorsupported.(2)TheprovisionsgiveninthisPartsupplementmodifyorsupersedetheequivalentprovisionsgiveninEN1993-1.(3)Thispartisconcernedonlywiththerequirementsforresistanceandstabilityofsteelsilos.Forotherrequirements(suchasoperationalsafety,functionalperformance,fabricationanderection,qualitycontrol,detailslikeman-holes,flanges,fillingdevices,outletgatesandfeedersetc.),seetherelevantstandards.(4)ProvisionsrelatingtospecialrequirementsofseismicdesignareprovidedinEN1998-4,whichcomplementsoradaptstheprovisionsofEurocode3specificallyforthispurpose.(5)ThedesignofsupportingstructuresforthesiloaredealtwithinEN1993-1-1.Thesupportingstructureisdeemedtoconsistofallstructuralelementsbeneaththebottomflangeofthelowestringofthesilo,seefigure1.1.(6)FoundationsinreinforcedconcreteforsteelsilosaredealtwithinEN1992andEN1997.(7)NumericalvaluesofthespecificactionsonsteelsilostobetakenintoaccountinthedesignaregiveninEN1991-4ActionsinSilosandTanks.(8)ThisPart4.1doesnotcover:?resistancetofire;?siloswithinternalsubdivisionsandinternalstructures;?siloswithcapacitylessthan10tonnes;?caseswherespecialmeasuresarenecessarytolimittheconsequencesofaccidents.(9)Wherethisstandardappliestocircularplanformsilos,thegeometricformisrestrictedtoaxisymmetricstructures,buttheactionsonthemmaybeunsymmetrical,andtheirsupportsmayinduceforcesinthesilothatarenotaxisymmetrical.
