【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtorankmaterialcouplesintheirresistancetothefailuremodecausedbygallingandnotmerelytoclassifythesurfaceappearanceofslidingsurfaces.ThistestmethodhasbeenshowntohavehigherrepeatabilitythanTestMethodG98indeterminingthegallingresistance.TestMethodG98canbeusedforinitialrankingofgallingresistance.5.3Thistestmethodshouldbeconsideredwhendamaged(galled)surfacesrendercomponentsnon-serviceable.Experiencehasshownthatgallingismostprevalentinslidingsystemsthatareslowmovingandoperateintermittently.Thegallingandseizureofthreadedcomponentsisaclassicexamplethatthistestmethodmostcloselysimulates.5.4Othergalling-proneexamplesinclude:sealingsurfacesofvalvesthatmayleakexcessivelyduetogallingandpumpwearringsthatmayfunctionineffectivelyduetogalling.5.5Iftheequipmentcontinuestooperatesatisfactorilyandlosesdimensiongradually,thengallingisnotpresent,andthewearshouldbeevaluatedbyadifferenttestmethod.5.6Thistestmethodshouldnotbeusedforquantitativeorfinaldesignpurposes,sincemanyenvironmentalfactorsinfluencethegallingperformanceofmaterialsinservice.Lubrication,alignment,stiffness,andgeometryareonlysomeofthefactorsthatcanaffecthowmaterialsperform.Thistestmethodhasprovenvaluableinscreeningmaterialsforprototypicaltestingthatmorecloselysimulatesactualserviceconditions.1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratorytestthatranksthegallingresistanceofmaterialcouplesusingaquantitativemeasure.Baremetals,alloys,nonmetallicmaterials,coatings,andsurfacemodifiedmaterialsmaybeevaluatedbythistestmethod.1.2Thistestmethodisnotdesignedforevaluatingthegallingresistanceofmaterialcouplesslidingunderlubricatedconditions,becausegallingusuallywillnotoccurunderlubricatedslidingconditionsusingthistestmethod.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThispartofISO17123specifiesfieldprocedurestobeadoptedwhendeterminingandevaluatingtheprecision(repeatability)ofrotatinglasersandtheirancillaryequipmentwhenusedinbuildingandsurveying,measurementsforlevellingtasks.Primarily,thesetestsareintendedtobefieldverificationsofthesuitabilityofaparticularinstrumentfortheimmediatetaskathandandtosatisfytherequirementsofotherstandards.Theyarenotproposedastestsforacceptanceorperformanceevaluationsthataremorecomprehensiveinnature.ThispartofISO17123canbethoughtofasoneofthefirststepsintheprocessofevaluatingtheuncertaintyofameasurement(morespecificallyameasurand).Theuncertaintyofaresultofameasurementisdependentonanumberoffactors.Theseincludeamongothers:repeatability,reproducibility(betweendayrepeatability)andathoroughassessmentofallpossibleerrorsources,asprescribedbytheISOGuidetotheexpressionofuncertaintyinmeasurement(GUM).Thesefieldprocedureshavebeendevelopedspecificallyforinsituapplicationswithouttheneedforspecialancillaryequipmentandarepurposefullydesignedtominimizeatmosphericinfluences.
