【摘要】:Theresultsobtainedbythistestmethodshouldserveasaguidein,butnotasthesolebasisfor,selectionofachemical-resistantmaterialforaparticularapplication.Noattempthasbeenmadetoincorporateinthetestmethodallthevariousfactorswhichmayaffecttheperformanceofamaterialwhensubjectedtoactualservice.Thisisnotatestforpermeabilityandthetestresultsarenottobeinterpretedasameasurementof,orindicationof,thepermeabilitypropertiesofthematerialstested.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheabsorptionofchemical-resistantmortars,grouts,monolithicsurfacings,andpolymerconcretes.Thesematerialsmaybebasedonresin,silicate,silica,orsulfurbinders.1.2MoldMethodAisusedforsystemscontainingaggregateslessthan0.0625in.(1.6mm)insize.MoldMethodBisusedforsystemscontainingaggregatesfrom0.0625to0.4in.(1.6to10mm)insize.MoldMethodCisusedforsystemscontainingaggregateslargerthan0.4in.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Withinthistext,theSIunitsshowninparenthesesaregivenforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
