【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61788coversatestmethodforthedeterminationofthed.c.criticalcurrentofCu/Nb-Ticompositesuperconductorsthathaveacopper/superconductorratiolargerthan1.Thismethodisintendedforusewithsuperconductorsthathavecriticalcurrentslessthan1000Aandn-valueslargerthan12,understandardtestconditionsandatmagneticfieldslessthanorequalto0,7oftheuppercriticalmagneticfield.Thetestspecimenisimmersedinaliquidheliumbathduringtesting.TheCu/Nb-Ticompositetestconductorhasamonolithicstructurewitharoundorrectangularcross-sectionalareathatislessthan2mm.Thespecimengeometryusedinthistestmethodisaninductivelycoiledspecimen.Deviationsfromthistestmethodthatareallowedforroutinetestsandotherspecificrestrictionsaregiveninthisstandard.Cu/Nb-Ticonductorswithcriticalcurrentsabove1000Aorcross-sectionalareasgreaterthan2mmcouldbemeasuredwiththepresentmethodwithananticipatedreductioninprecisionandamoresignificantself-fieldeffect(seeannexB).Other,morespecialized,specimentestgeometriesmaybemoreappropriateforlargerconductortestingwhichhavebeenomittedfromthispresentstandardforsimplicityandtoretainprecision.Thetestmethodgiveninthisstandardisexpectedtoapplytoothersuperconductingcompositewiresaftersomeappropriatemodifications.
