【摘要】:Assumptions:Thecontrolwelldischargesataconstantrate,Q.Thecontrolwellisofinfinitesimaldiameterandfullypenetratestheaquifer.Theaquiferishomogeneous,isotropic,andareallyextensive.Theaquiferremainssaturated(thatis,waterleveldoesnotdeclinebelowthetopoftheaquifer).Theaquiferisoverlain,orunderlain,everywherebyaconfiningbedhavingauniformhydraulicconductivityandthickness.Itisassumedthatthereisnochangeofwaterstorageinthisconfiningbedandthatthehydraulicgradientacrossthisbedchangesinstantaneouslywithachangeinheadintheaquifer.Thisconfiningbedisboundedonthedistalsidebyauniformheadsourcewheretheheaddoesnotchangewithtime.Theotherconfiningbedisimpermeable.Leakageintotheaquiferisverticalandproportionaltothedrawdown,andflowintheaquiferisstrictlyhorizontal.Flowintheaquiferistwo-dimensionalandradialinthehorizontalplane.ThegeometryofthewellandaquifersystemisshowninFig.1.1.1Thistestmethodcoversananalyticalprocedurefordeterminingthetransmissivityandstoragecoefficientofaconfinedaquiferandtheleakancevalueofanoverlyingorunderlyingconfiningbedforthecasewherethereisnegligiblechangeofwaterinstorageinaconfiningbed.Thistestmethodisusedtoanalyzewater-levelorheaddatacollectedfromoneormoreobservationwellsorpiezometersduringthepumpingofwaterfromacontrolwellataconstantrate.Withappropriatechangesinsign,thistestmethodalsocanbeusedtoanalyzetheeffectsofinjectingwaterintoacontrolwellataconstantrate.1.2ThisanalyticalprocedureisusedinconjunctionwithTestMethodD4050.1.3Limitations8212;ThevaliduseoftheHantush-JacobmethodislimitedtothedeterminationofhydraulicpropertiesforaquifersinhydrogeologicsettingswithreasonablecorrespondencetotheassumptionsoftheTheisnonequilibriummethod(TestMethodD4106)withtheexceptionthatinthiscasetheaquiferisoverlain,orunderlain,everywherebyaconfiningbedhavingauniformhydraulicconductivityandthickness,andinwhichthegainorlossofwaterinstorageisassumedtobenegligible,andthatbed,inturn,isboundedonthedistalsidebyazoneinwhichtheheadremainsconstant.Thehydraulicconductivityoftheotherbedconfiningtheaquiferissosmallthatitisassumedtobeimpermeable(seeFig.1).1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoinch-poundunits,whichareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4.1Theconvertedinch-poundunitsusethegravitationalsystemofunits.Inthissystem,thepound(lbf)representsaunitofforce(weight),whiletheunitformassisslugs.Theconvertedslugunitisnotgiven,unlessdynamic(F=ma)calculationsareinvolved.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.FIG.1CrossSectionThroughaDischargingWellinaLeakyAquifer(fromReed(1)).4TheConfi......
