【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofextraneousmaterialsweatheringabove38Cthatarepresentinliquefiedpetroleumgases.TheextraneousmaterialswillgenerallybedissolvedintheLPG,butmayhavephase-separatedinsomeinstances.Liquefiedpetroleumgasesthatcontaincertainanti-icingadditivescangiveerroneousresultsbythistestmethod.Althoughthistestmethodhasbeenusedtoverifycleanlinessandlackofheavycontaminantsinpropaneformanyyears,itmightnotbesensitiveenoughtoprotectsomeequipmentfromoperationalproblemsorincreasedmaintenance.Amoresensitivetest,abletodetectlowerlevelsofdissolvedcontaminants,couldberequiredforsomeapplications.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
